When using 44–57V input through the two-pin terminal, compatible 802.3af/at PoE-out operation is possible. Verify the connected device’s power standard and voltage requirements before connecting it.

Each PoE-out port can provide up to 25W under suitable conditions, while the total PoE output budget is limited to 130W. The included power supply may not provide enough capacity to reach that maximum under every load condition, so check the power budget when planning a deployment.

REDUNDANT POWER OPTIONS

Outdoor networks can be affected by power interruptions and equipment failures. The RB5009UPr+S+OUT offers multiple power inputs and can select the highest available input voltage when compatible sources are connected. This helps provide power redundancy for installations where maintaining connectivity is important.

The supported input voltage range is 24–57V DC. Do not mix incompatible voltage sources. Plan the power supply, connected PoE loads and port priorities carefully to avoid exceeding available capacity.

IP66 OUTDOOR ENCLOSURE

The router is supplied in a durable IP66-rated enclosure designed to protect the equipment against dust and powerful water jets. It is intended for outdoor installations, including network towers and suitable outdoor infrastructure locations.

Its specified operating temperature range is -40°C to +70°C. Correct installation remains essential: use the supplied mounting hardware appropriately, secure cable entries and connectors, and follow the manufacturer’s installation guidance to preserve environmental protection.
