Cisco GLC-LH-SMD Gigabit SFP Transceiver Module

The Cisco GLC-LH-SMD is a hot-swappable 1000BASE-LX/LH Gigabit Ethernet SFP transceiver designed to connect compatible network switches, routers and other networking equipment over fibre-optic links. Operating at a wavelength of 1310 nm, it supports distances of up to 10 km over single-mode fibre and up to 550 metres over multimode fibre, subject to the fibre type and link conditions.

Featuring a duplex LC/PC optical connector and Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), the module enables network connectivity and monitoring of optical operating parameters on supported equipment. Its compact SFP form factor makes it suitable for network expansion, equipment replacement and fibre-link deployments.
