The MikroTik LHG XL 5 ac 4-Pack (RBLHGG-5ACD-XL4PACK) is a four-unit bundle of high-gain outdoor wireless devices designed for long-range connectivity, point-to-point wireless links and wireless internet service provider deployments. Its dual-chain radio supports a theoretical maximum wireless data rate of up to 867 Mbps under suitable conditions. Actual throughput will vary according to the radio environment, channel configuration, link quality, interference and traffic load.

The device supports MikroTik’s Nv2 TDMA protocol, which can be useful in compatible wireless network deployments. For point-to-point links, both endpoints should be configured with compatible wireless settings and appropriate operating modes. Gigabit Ethernet and passive PoE

IP54 should not be interpreted as protection against immersion or every type of severe weather exposure.

RouterOS management

Each device comes with RouterOS preinstalled and licensed, with a Level 3 licence. RouterOS provides configuration options for supported wireless modes, bridging, routing, firewalling and network management. The available features depend on the software version and configuration.

Before deployment, verify the frequency range allowed in the installation country. The international version supports the manufacturer’s specified 5150–5875 MHz range, but the channels and permitted transmit power may be restricted by national regulations. The US version has different factory frequency restrictions.
