DUAL-BAND WI-FI 6

The mANTBox ax 15s supports Wi-Fi 6 on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. The 2.4GHz radio supports 802.11b/g/n/ax and has a theoretical maximum wireless rate of 574Mbps. The 5GHz radio supports 802.11a/n/ac/ax and has a theoretical maximum rate of 2400Mbps.

Actual throughput and coverage depend on the channel configuration, client equipment, interference, line of sight, regulatory limits and the number of active users. These advertised wireless rates are not guaranteed internet speeds.

INTEGRATED SECTOR ANTENNAS

The device has integrated dual-chain sector antennas with 12 dBi gain on 2.4GHz and 15 dBi gain on 5GHz. The integrated design helps simplify installation and reduces the need for separate external antennas.

ROUTEROS MANAGEMENT

Powered by a dual-core 800MHz ARM processor with 256MB RAM and 128MB NAND storage, the mANTBox ax 15s runs RouterOS v7 with a Level 4 licence. It supports wireless access point operation and network configuration options appropriate to the deployment.

Network administrators can configure wireless interfaces, network addressing, bridging, routing and supported traffic-management features according to their requirements. For point-to-multipoint installations, ensure that the base station and client radios use compatible wireless protocols and settings.

OUTDOOR INSTALLATION

The mANTBox ax 15s has an IP55-rated enclosure and a specified operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C. It is designed for outdoor installation, but correct mounting, grounding, cable protection and installation practices remain important for long-term reliability.

The device supports passive PoE input at 18–28V through Ethernet and DC-jack input at 12–28V. Maximum power consumption is specified at 21W, excluding the distinction between the device’s base consumption and connected attachments.
